Claus Muller, collector, racer and Managing Director of the Munich Café Racers, spent two weeks touring incredible palaces and car collections.
Claus’s adventure really started at a Press event at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours, where he first met the Maharana of Udaipur who was showing his one-off Rolls Royce, above. The Maharana invited Claus to India to see his collection and others; Claus, right, invited the Maharana to view his collection the next time he was planning on being in Germany. Both shared an incredible
passion for vintage cars.
Claus finished a two-week adventure in Rajasthan last month, visiting car collections and spending a lot of time with the Maharana in the vintage car museum, above, in his palace.
Claus Muller’s experience has been documented in the Classic Motorist blog and has given him the impetus to work on an exclusive Rajasthan Rallye for vintage cars, hopefully in 2014.
When details are ironed out, we will share them with our readers and cover the event. Chronicles Editor Marty Schorr, right, with Claus Muller at a Cafe Racers lunch, below, left.
