LINDA VAUGHN: ROASTING THE FIRST LADY!


Miss Hurst Golden Shifter to be honored by the motorsports community.




The Quarter Mile Foundation will be paying tribute to Linda Vaughn, the “First Lady of Motorsports,” at the Lucas family estate in Carmel, IN on Wednesday, August 29, preceding the NHRA Indy Nationals.



“We felt it important to acknowledge one of our icon’s careers in a colorful and entertaining fashion” said Foundation Chairperson Traci Hrudka.





The event will feature guests from the motorsports community – Drag Racing, IndyCar, NASCAR – as well as automakers and performance aftermarket companies. Confirmed roasters include Joe Amato, John Force, Don Garlits, Bob Glidden, Don Prudhomme and Jack “Doc” Watson. NHRA event announcer Bob Frey will be serving as the Master of Ceremonies.
