The good old days of maximum-muscle captured in scale model dioramas.
A CVS drugstore now stands on the corner of Merrick Road and Central Avenue in Baldwin, NY, once occupied from the early-1920s to early-1970s by Baldwin Chevrolet. It was the home of the iconic Fantastic Five and Sensational Six big-block Baldwin-Motion Supercars. A mixed-use automotive specialty business has replaced Motion Performance, Joel Rosen’s Temple of Testosterone on Sunrise Highway in Baldwin, builders of Baldwin-Motion Supercars.
Lee and Michelle Riley have captured the essence of what those legendary builders and marketers of niche market muscle cars looked like back in the day. And, they do the same for many popular 1950s-1960s speed shops and high-performance car dealers.
