Oldwick Café Racers hot rodder puts new life back in a rare tour bus.
For 40 years, Denny Fleck was Director of the late Malcolm Forbes’s Balloon Ascension Team. He traveled all over the world with the legendary man behind the Forbes magazine empire. These days, he spends a lot of time playing with his high-performance vehicles, including two of the 98 Yellowstone National Park tour busses built by White Motor Company.
Active with the Sarasota Café Racers’ satellite car guy lunch group in Oldwick, NJ, he often drives to break bread with his friends in his pride & joy, his neat ’37 White powered by a 200-horsepower turbocharged Caterpillar 3126 diesel. He updated the bus himself and converted it to modern Cat power.
