Some of the world’s most powerful Supercars will be roaring into action next month at the Supercar Showdown in the U.K, at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.
Attendees will be treated to spine-tingling roars created by some of the most powerful and prestigious Supercars, as they are put through their paces. Following on from the great success of last year’s Supercar Start-Up, this year the Supercar Showdown is set to be even bigger and better. Some 75 Supercars are expected, including a Ford GT and Ferrari Enzo, above, indicating a much larger display of vehicles than in previous years.
Among the impressive line-up, above, poised to wow visitors are a Ford GT, Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari F40, F50 and 360 Spider, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes SLS, Ultima GTR Can-Am, Lightning GT Carbon and an Aston Martin GT2. Supercar Lifestyle will also be present at this year’s event, bringing along with them an Ascari KZ1 GT3 racecar. This exclusive club offers members a unique and diverse way to drive a selection of the world’s most sought-after Supercars.
In the afternoon a selection of vehicles, including a new McLaren F1, above, will take part in a Demonstration Run through the Beaulieu parkland. These incredibly powerful machines will run at full throttle, giving spectators a glimpse of what really powerful engines and vehicles are all about.
If you wish to visit this fantastic, action-packed event, all you need to do is purchase general Beaulieu attraction admission tickets. These tickets give you entry to the event and access to all attractions, including the National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear, On Screen Cars, Beaulieu Abbey, and Palace House and gardens.
One other special attraction is the one-year-only BOND IN MOTION exhibition, which showcases 50 original vehicles from James Bond films. On display are the sleek and elegant Aston Martin DBS from Quantum Of Solace, plus two Honda CRF250R motorcycles used in the opening sequence of the newest Bond film, Skyfall, due to be released in the UK in October 2012.
