General Motors, which entered bankruptcy protection on June 1st, said on Monday that it would terminate its medium-duty truck operations after having failed to find a buyer for the division. "After four years of working with multiple potential buyers, General Motors has decided to wind-down its medium-duty truck operations," said the company in a prepared statement. The company said production of the Chevy Kodiak and GMC Topkick medium duty trucks that are both built at GM's Flint, Michigan, Assembly plant, will cease by July 31, 2009.
